Photographer's Note
ENGLISH: This photo is taken from a slightly different POV to my previous posting. I'm rather taken with those dancing statues I must admit. So this is Fairy Bower Rockpool looking northwest towards Manly. There's a beautiful nature walk from Manly Beach to Shelley Beach and some lovely restaurants in betwem, one in fact called "Fawlty Bowers" which does a wonderful breakfast.

I really do prefer this one because of the given context. It is something important when the art work is outdoors. The exposure was perfect to get all the picture details and also to smooth the water surface, which I think is very nice and peaceful. Well done.

Hi Lisa,
The exposure is very good in this image. The soft texture of the water remind me of frozen lakes in the middle of winter, of course here is perhaps summer. Nice details and point of view. This place seem very pretty. Thanks Lisa :-)

Hi Lisa
Lovely evening shot. Excellent capture of the overall lighting (mother nature including street / building lights).
Nice cool calm presentation. I love it. It makes me feel so relaxed.
POV Perfect.

Hi Lisa,
Smooth long exposure, that brings those stars to lights. Beautiful colours and well chosen foreground details. I had a difficult choice on choosing between this and previous one. Maybe this is better for not showing horizon line :).

Hello Lisa,
Very good shot at blue hour. The exposure, as well as the composition with a good visibility of the statues make this shot a good realization.

Hello Lisa,
A very atmospheric composition of these dancing figures, who are well placed in the framed and balanced by the taller buildings on the left. Good exposure control with lovely tones and excellent sharpness.

Hi Lisa.
I just took a look at the previous shot, but prefer this one - the sculptures were a little too centred in the frame in the other shot; here, they balance the composition very nicely. Very good detail in this long exposure, and there seems no noise in the photo. The water has a lovely sheen on it, and the lights are crisply defined with that nice star pattern you get from long exposures. Very good work, and a view of Sydney I haven't seen before.
Regards,
Andrew

Hi Lisa,
Hmmm, I think I like this POV better than the last one. Reasons, I like the stone wall coming diagonally into frame, the double layers of water, the closeness of the buildings and the star filter effect on the lights. The sculptures aren't as dominant in this one but they seem to sit comfortably in the right of frame rather than being in the centre.
A well thought out capture, for me, technically perfect.
Regards
Peter

Hi Lisa,
You have chosen a good POV to present the dancing sculpture which stands out really well against the water BG. Together with the rocky wall, they make a perfect FG feature. A nice piece of long exposure photo with the well defined starry lights along the foreshore and the sunset colours.
Cheers

Ciao Lisa,
altro bel POV per questa particolare scultura con la cittŕ di Manly sullo sfondo.
Davvero un bel posto. Il mare sembra di seta.
Forse c'č una leggera inclinazione sulla sinistra.
Ciao!

Hi Lisa,
This is a much better representation of that sculpture - I really like the background trees and the starred out lights. Very nice silky smooth water due to the long exposure. Really a beautiful shot!
Great job!

Ciao cara Lisa. Actually the statues add an enigmatic note to the scene.Interesting result for exposure time reading of 0.I like the effect of what I presume must have been a second or two.Lovely light and the reflections. I like the mood. Regards. Klaudio.

hi Lisa,
this is very, very nice, I like a lot the soft colours and dominant purple/blue, I've always thought this tone adds elegance and sophistication to almost any shot. the composition also works very well, the stone path is a nice lead-in line towards the lights if the city. great night shot, I like it a lot.
best,
Kristine
