Thanks for sharing this Sierra Nevada 'top of the world' sunset, certainly a difficult but rewarding trek on the John Muir Trail. The darkness and different alpenglow colors, make this image magical.

Beautiful the way you compose this image. The reflection of the skylight at the lake and the sillouet of the mountains is beautiful.

Hi Fabian,
Wow - I really like the color gradient on this photograph! The excellent reflection adds an element of symmetry here. It was also an interesting choice to include the near shore in the foreground - it breaks the symmetry.
