Photographer's Note
Anywhere you go in the mountains of Colorado, you are sure to attract a large following if you have sunflower seeds! This little ground squirrel was busy trying to figure out how many seeds could fit in his cheeks, so I just snapped away. He didn't really seem to care, but instead struck a pose!
South Fork is situated amongst the Rockies, on the western edge of the San Luis Valley. The town of around 300 got its name because the South Fork of the Rio Grande runs through it. Despite its small size, many people have heard of it. A large percentage of its visitors are Texans who come for RV camping, skiing, fishing, or hunting.

Hi Daniel,
Not used to comment on that kind of pic on TE but here I must admit I kinda like it ;)
At first I was attracted by the funny look of this squirrel emjoying some kina seeds. But in addition, and that's my very own opinion I think the technic is good and not so easy to manage with such a tiny animal.
I would well see a white frame around the pic to make it look professional ;-)
Well done!
Pris.

:)) very funny one, Daniel. There's not really much to be done to the esthetics of this picture, but the subject is quite entertaining. Which one is it? Chip or Dale?:P I added a workshop if you don't mind

Hi Daniel,
I really like this shot, especially how the short depth of field ephasises his head, stuffed cheeks and front paws. I don't know if that was your intention, but it's really worked!
Great photo and thanks for sharing it,
Cheers

Hi
Very great shot. You must be lucky to get the squirrel pose for you, when ever I try to snap a squirrel it always runs away, even bribing it with some food did not make it pose for me. Oh and this particular squirrel is very cute and chubby.

Hi Daniel
How on earth did you get such a clear, focused shot of such an erratic little creature?
His eyes are completely infocus.
Excellent work!
