Volga are quite long river, biggest in Europe with it's 3690 kilometers long main course.
Volga lays almost exclusively within Russia borders; it runs all the way from the North-West of Russia (starts from Valday Hills) to the South (Volga Delta ends at Kaspian Sea).
Here are the photo of ancient (main buildings made in XV-XVII centuries) monastery in small remote town Staritza. Photo made across Volga, it's quite narrow here, and with a quite steepy shores - I was not able to come down and take photo from there.
