Gran Paradiso National Park, a photo from Turin, Piedmont

Photographer's Note

In the Piedmont side of Gran Paradiso National Park this two artificial lake are located between 2275 and 2295 mts and are called Lago Serru' and Lago Agnel.The peaks you see in the bg are located in French or between the French/Italian border with an altitude that reach of 3482 of the Grande Aiguille Rousse.
Taken this morning in a one day visit.

Hello Alessandro,

this is a wonderful view and with some very interesting points to watch across the photo, such as the lake, this snaky road and of course the mountain range on background.

Beautiful natural tones and good exposure.

Ammazza che foto!!Non potevi scegliere miglior destinazione per il tuo ultimo viaggio,il panorama e' davvero spettacolare,magnifico contrasto tra i colori dei due lagehtti,e poi il serpertone della strada,le cime innevate..di questa foto non si puo' scartare niente,un po' come si dice da noi del maiale..ehhee...buona serata e complimenti,Luciano

There are many very beautiful elements in this splendid panorama picture.
What strikes me most is the different colour of both lakes. And that while they're so close to each other on about the same altitude. The grassland between both lakes looks so fresh green. Wonderful!
Thanks to that winding road the height differences are made clear to us.
The remaining snow alternates nicely with the darker places on the mountain peaks.
This is really a beautiful and impressive panorama picture, like a postcard that many people would buy.

Hello Alessandro,
A great use of colors and light. The deep depth of field is perfect. A well presented crop allows eyes to remain fixed on the deep blue water lake. The mountains and the blue sky also lends a lovely contrast to the scene.

A really beautiful mountainscape from an outstanding point of view. Amazing colour contrast between the two lakes. I like how the road snakes its way into the mountains. The various tones of green add some nice contrast of colour and texture to the bare and snow-covered mountains. This is really a great capture. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous place with us.

Beeing in the Gran-Paradiso park, we were told there are trail on the mountains with so many beautiful sights - but we did not take a hiking tour...
The magnificent view on higher altitude is breath-taking, and the picture shows with fine light and clearity, good depth and contrast of colors.

Fantastic alphine landscape, and what superb clear day, and at this altitude, the air is so clear, allowing you to capture such a beautiful image. I love the different blue of the lakes and the sky, the fresh green with patches of flow bring so much lively and energy. The Remaining snow give great contrast to the mountain, and the winding road take us all the way down to the lake, I get sick just thinking that I have sit in the car zigzag all the way down. Great shot with excllent detail, good depth, and good composition.

Exceptional clear day which allows a perfect visibility throughout the entire picture. The road is funny. But what struck me is the two different colors of these mountain lakes. I always wonder what makes them that different.
