Reflection of Time Past, a photo from Wisconsin, Midwest

Photographer's Note

Stonefield is a Wisconsin Historic Site, a small town frozen in time about 1900, with shops, stores, a school, a farm and other photographic delights. We visited there in the pause between school tours and summer vacationers, making photography easy, but feeling a little spooky. It felt as if the people had walked out the door in 1900, and might come back at any time.

You show us here a glimpse of what must be a nice place to visit, and to make a travel in time. We get sort of double view into this world by looking into the window, and at the same time get an impression of the oustide. Very well framed. You did a great job! Thanks for sharing. Wow! Quite an original approach I think! We can just see the old printing press through the window, but with the stronger and very lovely reflection of some of the town taking center stage! All together a fine composition with lovely clarity! Nice work, cheers,

I really like this image, well spotted opportunity capturing the reflections in the window, I like how the reflected image fades to show the inside of the building too.

excellent idea, this window is as a mirror that reflects the garden with perfect details and colors. It's as to see a picture in picture, in really pleasant way, between games of light and transparencies. Excellent work, compliments!
