Wiesner Building – Albert and Vera List Visual Art Center

I'm just going back for this post to the MIT campus in Cambridge, USA.
The Wiesner Building is a wonderful example of a successful collaboration between architect and artists.
The famous architect I.M. Pei worked closely with a number of artists.
Kenneth Noland collaborated with the exterior of the building.
Scott Burton, Alan Shields, and Richard Fleischner collaborated extensively in the final design of the internal atria and external landscaping.
The building is named in honour of former MIT president Jerome Wiesner and his wife Laya.
The building houses the Albert and Vera List Visual Art Center.
During our visit there was unfortunately only one small exhibition.

The three photos in this presentation were made in the atrium of the building.
