Photographer's Note

While the town of Palmer grew with the wealth brought by the seven railroads that called Palmer home stone edifices were constructed to show the strength of their beliefs. The craftsmanship that went into these types of buildings is now a thing of the past, as is the strict adherence to any set of beliefs; except maybe greed and instant gratification.

These old buildings should be a source of inspiration and strength to the community, to a great part I think they are seen a impediments to progress by the developers who would mar the land with their modern tasteless construction.
