Photographer's Note
A sunset lights up vapor trails and clouds in the sky behind the Woburn Public Library.
This is my first shot at the new size limits - I appreciate the additional size, even though it still shows up at the old settings? Not sure why...

Hi Andrew
like this, it has an air of intrigue and mystery about it. Really like the immaculate detail of the silhouetted roof and of course the glow in the sky just adds that little touch of magic. Very Harry Potter!

hi andrew,
silhouettes make us dream about what we don't see, yet imagine what could be hidden in shades. i like the title, both connecting with this imagination issue and the fairy tale castle that you present (it is my imagination).

Hello Andrew,
A perfectly framed composition. The silhouetted outlines of the architecture sit well against the beautifully toned sky. The vapour trails provide additional interest and contribute to the overall success of the image.

Hi Andrew,
the same Library as in your previous shot, but the light changes here everything.I like your idea to juxtapose the roof of the Library with so beautifully looking sky. These two contrails on the sky are also very nice and eye-catching addition to your shot.
Great shot!
Btw.I had no idea there are some new regulations concerning the size of the pictures?
Wish You a pleasant day

Hi Andrew
another cool looking post.
aren't silhouettes beautiful!
especially when you have a smart looking contrasting skyline and clouds like you do here.
but what i enjoy most about this post are the edges on the rooftops. they prove to me just how sharp and clear your photo is, excellent work my friend.
Hope all is well with the new addition for the family :)
cheers

Hello Andrew,
A silhouette full of character and a sky full of atmosphere. The jet-streams and the dark streaks of clouds create fine opposing diagonals which make the sky even more interesting.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Andrew,
The contrasts of a warm sunset sky and interesting silhouettes is a formula that, for me, works well. You have chosen a particularly interesting building, with lots of decoration, for your silhouette.
The vapour trails add a little magic to an already attractive sky.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)
Hope your little one is progressing well. x x

Hi Andrew,
Great choice to upload at the new size, the details on the roof are so clear and sharp. And indeed, so plentiful. This looks like a very ornate building. You present it as a fine silhouette against this interesting sky. I like the gold and blue tones, and like you note, the trails of the planes create a nice visual.
Cheers

Hi Andrew,
So good to hear from you again, hope all is going well with the "newbie!" :) This is a superb silhouette for me, always a fan of them, but this one has such a neat characteristic of the little ridges from each one of the solid, larger shapes. The heavy sunset sky makes for some nice atmosphere too, and I really like the cross-cutting vapor trails for added effect. This is certainly a solid illustration of "less is more." Well done indeed. Have a great weekend ahead. Take care.
Best wishes from Phoenix,
Jason

Hi Andrew
What a nice gathering of silhouetted shapes against the fantastic sky and the streaks of bright colors and by providing a bare minimum shot you've certainly made the most of that situation. Lovely stark and simplicity with effective black shapes yet it holds our interest as they break up the line and stand out. Alfred Hitchcock would be very proud of this! Well done
Kind regards
