Somewhere around Battery Park, there are stands of ornamental grass like the one shown here. Behind this particular stand, is a mix of residential and office buildings. Quite a bizarre way to see New York... through reeds.

I like this ... the gold color is unreal and the three or four levels of the elements (reed, buildings, clouds, sky) make a nice composition.

I just love all this combination and especialy colour ! As a NY view it's something unsuspected.It makes association with some bright apocalyptic mood:).
