Photographer's Note
The view that greets you as you enter Radio City Music Hall is wonderful. You are immediately in the grand foyer, with its beautiful art deco design, impressive staircase, and main mural called "Fountain of Youth". When I was there, a few days ago, the hall was decorated for the holidays, and everyone was excited to see the annual Christmas Spectacular. Radio City Music Hall opened in December 1932, and the first Christmas show was performed the following year.
This photo was taken from a balcony on the first mezzanine level, overlooking the grand foyer.

Hi Brenda,
Ah, another of your great NYC Art Deco photos! I am a sucker for Art Deco. This certainly is a grand foyer and quite lovely. This would have been a difficult shot without a tripod (which I presume you did not have here :-) ) and you pulled it off nicely. In post-processing, the image could have been rotated a bit to the left, I think, and perhaps (if you believe in doing such things) you could have played with Skew or another tool to correct the parallax. But all in all, well done!
Regards,
Jackie

Brenda,
This is a difficult picture to take and you did it right. Nice warm color and mood. It brings viewer's ( and Phantom's ) eyes to the beautiful & well lighted wall in the background. A little crop & tilt will make this nice art work even better. I also enjoy all your other photos. It seems you can always find a new and interesting subject to shot through your advanturous eyes and mind. New York Time should hire you!

Interesting interior shot, Brenda, which is nicely balanced with the staircase on the left left taking the eye up to the mural and the Christmas tree on the right. The perspective issue that Jackie mentioned doesn't bother me too much, but I wold have tried bringing out a little more of the shadow detail by using the shadow/highlights tool in Photoshop (if you have that). Cheers . . . David

Love the photo, Brenda !
It's extremely difficult to take a good photo in such condition...
You have to know few dirty tricks around to do it...
Obviously...You know a trick a two about the trade, because the results of your knowledge are quite visible.
Incredibly color-balanced photo...The contrast came out as good as it can be in such awkward situation...
Bravo gal, for this babe..
OK…OK…So I like Music Hall and New York…
Big deal!!!
But I also know what is a good photography, and what's a bad photography…And I know good photography when I see one…
That's it..
All the best, B.E.

Hello Brenda
Thanks for your visit.
Low light and yellow cast depict quite a moody view on yesteryears interior design.
Hope they did'nt destroy the grand theater organ used to warmup the audience before the Rockettes show!!
See you soon!

Hello Brenda,
A building that I haven't been able to enter.
I seem to remember that you could only enter in a group and at certain times ...
At the moment it's much too early to think about the year end but Christmas was a perfect opportunity to take some nice pictures in that building.
The composition is beautiful with the illuminated tree in the opposite corner of the stairs going up.
Pleasant atmosphere in the grand foyer.
Best regards, Paul
