Photographer's Note
This picture shows the New York City skyline viewed from the banks of the Hudson River at Tarrytown, under the Tappen Zee Bridge. There are two noteworthy aspects. First, you can clearly see (despite the cloudy day) the immense new apartment building at 432 Park Avenue, that rivals the new WTC in height. In addition, you can see the new supports for the new "NY Bridge" that is being constructed to replace the old Tappen Zeee Bridge, which has passed the age of its usefulness, though still in use.rnrnhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/432_Park_Avenuernrn432 Park Avenue is a supertall residential building in midtown Manhattan, New York City, with 104 condominium apartments. It was developed by CIM Group. Originally proposed to be 1,300 feet (396 meters) in 2011,[3] construction began in 2012 and is scheduled to be completed in 2015.[4] rnrnAt a height of 1,396 ft (426 m),[2][6] 432 Park Avenue is the third tallest building in the United States, and the tallest residential building in the Western Hemisphere.[7] It is the second tallest building in New York City, behind One World Trade Center, and ahead of the Empire State Building. When measured by roof height, however, 432 Park Avenue is the tallest building in New York City, surpassing One World Trade Center by 28 ft (9 m).[6]rnrnView videos of the new bridge's construction here:rnrnhttp://www.newnybridge.com/rnrnThe New NY Bridge to replace the Tappan Zee continues to make remarkable progress on the Hudson River and is on track to be fully opened in 2018 while remaining within the $3.98 billion budget. More than 5,000 people have worked on the project so far and Tappan Zee Constructors, LLC (TZC) has utilized more than 620 New York companies to help build the new twin-span bridge.r

Hi Alan
A very new view to me of this city, and I really like that you've combined it with the construction work on the bridge. I always think that in decades to come, people for whom this bridge was always there will be fascinated to see it's creation documented like this. That sky is superb too
Cheers
Noel
