Photographer's Note
This photo was taken at the Marriott Marquis Hotel, located at Times Square,in New York City last year. The image is not so clear because the elevators were in motion, but i think you can see how tall and beautifull this hotel is.
The elevators are programed to stop only at certain floor, wich one of them to a different program.
Up There there is a Bar called "The View",at the fourty seven floor, where you can see New York all around, because the bar has a plataform that turns around(like if it were a CD) so you can see all the views of the city. It´s very beautifull.
This photo was taken with natural light of the windows of the Hotel.

I don't care aout the hotel so much, but as a study of shapes and lighting I like this one. I see a bit of sensor noise, but given the conditions that's not surprising.

Interesting composition and good angle ! It's like a scene coming from a science-fiction movie ! Good job !

Very good angle, Rute! At first glance it's "just a hotel elevator shot", but the positioning and graphical impact of the illuminated elevator cabins and the surrounding architecture make this one really interesting and pleasing to look at. Good effect of the incoming daylight at the top, too. Well done.
