Photographer's Note
Still to cold in southern Ontario for me to go outside to take photos. ( At this moment we have 35MPH gale winds blowing out on the Lake in front of my house and its 23F with a wind chill of 7F) So I dug out some of my old photos that I haven't posted yet. This one was taken while driving in Vermont on Interstate 89. I'm not 100% happy with the photo as it was a very cloudy day so was hard to deal with the light in a car driving 70MPH on the interstate. But however I thought it would give those in different countries an Idea of what driving is like in Vermont! At this point in time I see from the exit sign we are approaching Montpeliever, which is the states Capital. Vermont is called the Green Mountain State which is perfect as the mountains and hillsides in the summer months are covered with a lush green forest, in the fall, it turns to orange, red and yellow and is the most beautiful placed I've ever lived. I love driving there as there are lots of hills and turns so its fun!

Hi Donna,
I guess, the colour is bit unusual in this case, specially the f/g.But the scenic beauty of the surroundings cant b ignored for sure. Can imagine how it felt driving there. But I wish this composition could have been better, specially if it is from a skillful photographer like you.

Hi Donna,
You take us on a wonderful trip down one mountain as we look at an even more imposing and beautiful mountain in the distance. Lovely muted colors to this winter scene.

Hello Donna,
I notice there are still a tad of winter, but the snow is on retreat!
I like how the road curves into the scenery, taking me somewhere beyond the horizon...
A well composed image with a good feeling of depth!

Hi Donna!
Light is one of the values of your picture, takes all the preminence at a first glance, but the pov and details shown, completes one picture very well managed and balanced!
Thank you for your words about my picture!
Cheers!

Hi Donna,
.....and I thought sailing was your only passion, how silly of me:) Not the sharpest picture around but a wonderful POV. With the zigzag hilly roads seems like a wonderful place to drive.

A nice point of view with the curve of the road among the trees. But I am a bit disappointed by the colors, especially in the background. But the foreground has a good sharpness.
All the best,
