Photographer's Note
This and the bonus picture I am posting as a workshop are shots of a decaying tomb in one of my favorite places in Savannah Georgia. Laurel Grove is one of the most haunted cemeteries I have ever been too. This kept the locals away, while it's location in the middle of a fairy dicey neighborhood kept most of the tourists away as well. Even if the place weren't haunted, it would be just plain creepy from it's state of disrepair. Laurel Grove was my get away hang out while I was at SCAD and I took many pictures of the place. I loved using the Holga there. The dreamlike quality that the lens imparts on an image really enhances the since of disrepair. Both of these images are on the shortlist of those I am picking from for a collection I am putting together, so please let me know what you think.

Very good composition, Grav. I like the position of the door (looks like we're waiting for someone/something to emerge), and the view down that shadowed passageway to the side. There is just enough decay to evidence abandonment (by living things, at least) and the blurred edge enhances that sense quite effectively. It's hard to be spooky on a bright sunny day, Grav, but I think you've done it!
Regards,
Lisa
