Photographer's Note
This is not exactly a touristy sort of spot, but this burnt out old service station/tire store had a desolate beauty. I took a number of lovely pictures of it before they demolished it. Found the negatives a few weeks ago and decided to scan it with the good scanner.

Hey Hubert!
That's a nice catch - the atmosphere you caught here is marvelous, with the harsh contrast of the Tri-X combined with the composition of the burnt place: the logo of Coca Cola at back, the wrecked door, the debris...sure was more efficient if more tires were visible at the center of the frame and not at the lower left corner of it...
Well done!

I think you are right about the desolate beauty you found here. Love the the tonal range of this photo, and the high resolution you get out of the medium format Agfa Isola. These used to be remarkable cameras, and I am glad you are using one nowadays. [The top of the awning looks a bit bleached out, perhaps a bit more burning could restore it?]

Hello Hubert
I'm a big fan of Jeff Brouws' photographs so this shot really caught my eye. The textures, the lines all blend skillfully to produce a strong image.
Congratulations
Emmanuel
