Photographer's Note
After my mini series on the colours of Denali NP here is one with practically no colour at all. Where we were came over very dark, threatening a storm but to the south over a ridge was a peak getting some sun.
Best in the large view.

Hello Ian,
It looks very dramatic indeed. The grey clouds and the dark foreground add the perfect contrast for the brightly sunlit snow in the middle. The details are seen so well and clearly, too.

Hello Ian,
Just for fun I checked to see what this would look like in B&W. The difference was negligible. ;-) The title you chose is quite relevant. This looks like all hell could break loose any moment. It's a fascinating composition.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Ian,
Your title is perfect for the scene and the effect that it causes!
It could almost be black and white, yet I think you were right to keep those hints of rich tones, particularly in the f/g.
The strong contrasts of colours, in such a short space are amazing!
I love the effects of the swirling clouds; they give it a sort of ethereal effect!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Ian,
Your title says it all. I would look good even in BW I think, or even more dramatic!
Best Wishes
Gy.

Almost no colour, but it does not need colours to be dramatic. What a presence! A very impressive picture this one, Ian. Congratulations & cheers
