Reflection, a photo from California, West

Photographer's Note

This is a place called "Bad Water" at Death Valley in Nevada, USA. Its hard to believe after seeing this picture that this whole place is actually a desert!
The whole area is dotted with salt flats, sand dunes and barren terrain.

Beautiful colors in this landscape make it a natural. The photo would be enhanced if the image were sharpened a bit with Photoshop or a similar product. I like the overall composition and wouldn't crop it. The sky is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your work.

Good composition, I like the reflection and the balance of foreground and the background. Even if it would look better with the unsharp mask, I will give you my two points for such an insteresting picture.

At first I thought it was a pic of a lake in Ladakh..very very similar.Yes you couldve sharpened it slightly but all in all its a great shot !!!

Indeed you could have sharpened it a little bit, and did you try cropping it and see what the results where?

The sharpening in the workshop does the trick Sachin. This is such a simple yet perfect image. I like the diagonal of the hillside and the in the reflection. What is the little white spot halfway up the hill?
