Photographer's Note
Everything in the frame was moving from the foxtails in the foreground to the birds in the water and clouds in the sky on this windy sunset at Mono Lake.

Beautiful shot!
I love the color combination and the composition.
The longer exposure got it to be abstract and deeper. Wonderful!

Awesome shot Steve!
I've seen this type of shot a few times, and the results are always impressive. Like the exposure effect on the foxtails- Nice compo, good exposure and natural colors...
Well done!

Hi Steve,
This is an incredible shot. Composition is excellent and the foxtail in the foreground invite the eye into the sunset scene beyond. At first I wasn't keen on the blurred foreground, but the more I look at it the more I like it. Great work, Steve, and thanks for sharing. I visited Mono Lake and many other interesting US places a couple of weeks ago, so if you're interested, check out my gallery, I will be posting quite a number of shots in the weeks to come. Tks. This is a really great photo. From the color to te composition to the title. Really good. Love the "motion" of the foxtails and the colors of the sunset. Looks like a wide angle lens also which gives great depth to the photo and nice POV with the foxtails almost at eye level.

Very pleasant compo, Steve.
Lots of movement, in a very soft way.
The colors are great.

Hey Steve, looking through your gallery I have to see that you had already quite a few opportunitis to take great shots at Mono Lake. This composition with the moving foxtail against the colorful backdrop is very intriguing. It might be slightly exagerated on the contrast, but that is a question of taste and generally I'm a fan of strong colors.
Keep posting!

Hi Steve,
very impressive shot. The visual effect of the long exposure time is superb. I’ll certainly try to imitate that at the first opportunity.
