Photographer's Note

At the harbor in Santa Barbara, there is a fairly large statue, Boy on a Seahorse. The seahorse is relatively large and the boy is very small. Moreover, the boy has his hat on his back. The plaque on the statue indicates that it was a gift to the city from a sister city, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The latter city has an even larger version which is so important, that when it was lost in a storm in 1976, Puerto Vallarta built an even larger statue and placed it in a safer place in the city. This was taken in another part of this large harbor and I thought it was meaningful to post.
