Photographer's Note
Re-post info: I realized that I've been posting all my photos as Adobe RGB (aRGB) but the web colourspace should be sRGB. Without the appropriate colourspace, the photos appear dull and desaturated.
This was taken at the Santa Barbara Zoo. It's a rather nice Zoo despite its small size. Unfortunately the light is quite drab but this was more of an experiment of my new lens.
Post: crop, Velvia and sharpen.

Yes. I think that you have improve very clearly the colours. The first version was not bad but this one has very bright colours. In particular, the feathers are very nice.
Good job already in the original with this lovely image.

Hi Donald,
Quelles couleurs, une publicité pour Kodak :).
Une précision diabolique dans les réglages, j'adore cette petite scčne de tendresse. Bonne profondeur de champ aussi. :).
Bonne fin de journée.

Nice shot Don;
I liked the first one, but I like this one more. More saturatiuon of color kind of makes it "pop". The clarity around the eyes is amazing. Kind of human like in their actions aren't they...
Where in Photoshop do you change it from aRGB to sRGB? I've been boosting the saturation on my shots to counter the effect you mentioned!
Cheers mate!

Hi Donald. What strong and varied colors you have captured here. Well you certainly have no saturation problems here. This exact color is very tough for many cameras to represent accurately and your setup seem to do a good job. Nice shooting Donald!

Birds of a Feather bite together, eat together and fly together, Nice capture. Okay you said.."Re-post info: I realized that I've been posting all my photos as Adobe RGB (aRGB) but the web colourspace should be sRGB" But that is the same. So now I will have to check out what kind I am posting now too. Question ...did you use a tripoc in this shot. I find I have to almost all the time unless I kick up the ISO setting. Nice shot here.

Hello Donald
Beautiful moment in a birds life.
The moment seems perfect, the composition only works to put some great attention on the these to parrots.
The colours look magnificent and the different colour fadings are pure and very natural.
Do you have any idea what kind of parrot this is?
Thank you for sharing.
