This is a panorama stitched together from Buckskin Pass at an altitude of 12,462 feet (3798 m). The pass is located in the Maroon Bells Scenic Area, part of the White River National Forest.

The peaks shown are part of the Elks Range. In the center just above the trees, you can see Snowmass Lake (9,580 ft / 2920 m). To the left of the lake are Hagerman Peak (13,841 ft/4219 m) and Snowmass Peak (13,620 ft / 4151 m). To the right of the lake is the taller Snowmass Mountain, at 14,092 feet (4295 m).

I used a total of nine vertical shots for the panorama, but later cropped the central area shown here, as I felt it was the strongest part of the composition.
