Photographer's Note

This is a photo of Beaverhead Rock in southwestern Montana. It's the famous landmark that Sacagawea (different spellings) recognized while guiding Lewis & Clark to her Shoshone homeland. It was taken late in the afternoon, so I thought the shadows on the front of face kind of added to the details. My friend had trouble seeing this, but it resembles a beaver's head sticking out above the water. The front of the head is in the shadow area.
