i have never thought of The Valley Of Fire as a sunrise destination, always been there late afternoon towards sunset, when the colours of the rocks seen to glow, but having seen your photo this has changed my mind and when i am next over, i will have to get there for some sunrise shots,

Love the textures of those foreground rocks, nice dof and beautiful exposure.

Superb capture Steve. i just came back from the deserts of Utah, Colorado, Arizona and NM. What a spectacular red rocks these states have. the sun rise or set came out awesome with the reddish glow all over the picture.

Great colours and the sun is just in the right place. The sky and all the rest of this composition made me think of religion. Great capture. Thanks for sharing, regards, Britta
