Hot Air Ballooning
Taos, New Mexico

Looking out over the other balloon flying with us over Taos, New Mexico.

A little about the area...
The Rio Grande starts in southern colorado, winds through New Mexico, and then forms the boarder between Texas and Mexico. The gorge, just west of Taos, NM is neaerly 800 feet deep. It is a popular area for rafting, taking dips in the "clothing optional" hot springs, and of course hot air ballooning.

The gorge itself is just below the view of this image and can be seen in other photos in my theme.

today´s theme: balloons ! I already saw yours and I was inspired to do something about it.
Your pic has a very good depth and and a good contrast between the natural colours of land and the colourful balloon. I like it !

Beautiful landscape with interesting point of view. Second baloon after right completes the whole very well and excellent contrasts with bright background.

This is my favorite from your series. I love the point of view and the fact that you have another balloon adds lots of color and depth perception. Great shot, Amber.

You have a wonderful hot air ballooning series and this one is my favorite because of the wonderful perspective you get with this point of view. I like how those balloons always have such strong colors. It could use some sharpness I think.
