Photographer's Note
Revendo algumas fotos tiradas com minha camera compacta, encontrei algumas de Seattle que valem a pena serem postadas aqui. Essa foi tirada do parque na frente dessa torre, chamada "Space Needle".
************
Reviewing some photos taken with my compact camera, I found some from Seattle that are worth posting here. This one was taked from the gardens in front of this tower called "Space Needle".
The 605-foot tall Space Needle was completed in December 1961 and officially opened a mere four months later on the first day of the World's Fair, April 21, 1962.
The Space Needle was built for just $4.5 million, and has had its share of milestones, including numerous weddings and a jump by six parachutists. During the World's Fair, nearly 20,000 people a day traveled to the top. The Space Needle hosted over 2.3 million visitors during the Fair and is still, over 40 years later, Seattle's number one tourist destination.

Hi Mauricio,
Not only the name is 'Space Needle', I think the architecture shows very well how 60's was the decade of optimism, trust on technical progress and all things futuristic. I like simple light tones against blue background and dynamic upwards camera angle.

Mauricio,
Paulo

Ola Mauricio, excellent vertical frame to capture this interesting tower and add height to it. The depth is superb, everything is in focus right to the top of the frame. Excellent natural colours and perfect exposure of the sky. TFS and I wish you a good day, Lisa

Hi Mauricio
That reminds me of the TM tower in Alor Star, which looks very similar to your tower. Looks very proud and bold, good light management and settings. Well done. Thanks for your critique of my local beach shot. Light in this part of the world is very bright, what makes it a bit troublesome for photography, so sometimes I hide a bit of the brightness with tree branches.
Best regards
urs
