Photographer's Note

I am not religious, but a thing of beauty is ... well, a thing of beauty. And it is the Sunday before Christmas. From the name above the door - legible before the compression - I was able via google to locate the following details of this picturesque church in Jackson Hole, Wyoming:

"The unique, rustic Chapel of the Transfiguration, located in Grand Teton National Park, was erected in the summer of 1925. The building is of logs, with the pews constructed of quaking aspen. Above the altar is a great plate glass window which frames the rugged Teton Mountains in all their majesty as they rise 7,000 feet above the valley floor. The view is breathtaking, and compels the observer to praise the awesomeness of God in His creation."

The Workshop shows the view through the window .
