Absolutely genius place for photography: Tacoma, Washington!

This is the dome of the "hot shop" at the museum of glass, designed by Canadian Architect Arthur Erickson. Every time we visit, it presents in a new light, and continually inspires. Many people visiting Seattle don't think of a daytrip to Tacoma, but for us it's a great place to spend the day.

This is the first shot I've posted on TE of my neighborhood. It was using my new Canon DSLR. The shot itself is true to frame with little post processing, but I did rotate the camera about 15 degrees clockwise (the hot-shop dome normally would slant to the right).

As always, workshops welcome should you have ideas on improving this print.

Clever shot with an upward pov to get the detail of the clouds, the idea of rotating work well too, i would also consider getting some detail of the dome. tfs

what a chance to have such a sky and this great tower!
a very modern shoot, with this over-light full of light!
verticality is the right choice of course and the tower not in the middle too; very well seen and done!
