Olsen Lake is located in the Holy Cross Wilderness of the White River National Forest, near the base of Grouse Mountain.

This is a shot of the lake (situated at an elevation 11,263 feet / 3,433 meters) as seen from a nearby, unnamed ridge, facing east.

Hello Adam,

A very bright and clear photograph! There seems to be too much foreground - I wish it were cropped, or had an interesting subject (like a flower)... Definitely a great POV!
