This is a close-up photo of the deep colors of Olsen Lake, seen in my previous post.

I used a polarizing filter to remove some of the glare from the water and reveal the fish swimming underneath the surface, which you can see if you look very carefully. Fishing is possible at this lake with a permit, for those who are willing to complete the 7 mile (11.3 km) trek with a gain in elevation of 3,480 feet (1,061 meters).

Hi Adam

The transparency & clarity of the water are amazing. I visited Colorado in 2008 & enjoyed Denver, Colorado Springs, Durango & Mesa Verde. The yellow vs blue color contrast here is great. Excellent sharpness & framing. Tfs!
