New Hampshire State House 3, a photo from New Hampshire, Northeast

Photographer's Note

For my final New Hampshire State House entry, I drove up to Concord this evening (it's only about an hour from my house) to get a shot of the building with some seasonal decorations. Unfortunately, cars stubbornly refused to move for me, leaving me with a limited number of decent angles; this proved to be the best available. There's another view in WS.

I'm signing off until after Christmas - I hope everyone has a happy holiday if you celebrate it, and a happy week if you don't!

Hello Andrew,
night and long shutter speed give always magnificent results.This one is the best example of that.These white and red car lights look really gorgeous.Also the State House in the background is well presented to us with so nice illuminated dome.
I´ve just read you bought new wide-angle lens.I´m looking forward to see your new pictures taken with Sigma 10-20mm.

Long exposure created interesting results. The white and red car trails are complemented by the yellow line on the road.
I like the other image too in spite of the lack of the new wide angle lens. :)

Hello Andrew,
I like the illumination of the state house, and the inclusion of the Christmas tree. The trails of headlights and taillights created by the long exposure are nice, too. Many times there is something in the frame that we wish would disappear, but at least the cars are a dark color, and they don't really disturb the photo.
