Photographer's Note

There are several osprey nests I monitor within a few miles of where I live. This one is at the top of a man-made platform in the middle of a small salt water inlet near the Sanibel Causeway toll booth.

Canon 400mm f2.8 lens w/ 2x teleconverter. I tried to expand the DOF by shooting at f16, knowing these birds were slightly separated with one a bit closer to the camera than the other.
