Goodbye, Twenty Fourteen!
Perhaps this is my last post in this year.
Tomorrow morning I am going to Romania.

I want to wish you all the best in 2015. I hope to see you here again when I come back with new photos from this trip.

Priviet Sieriozha,

One more photo in Twenty Fourteen! It was for me not bad year, quite many travels and meetings:). One year ago I wouldn't guess I will decide for Transsib. Let's hope that 2015 brings also nice surprises. Have a great trip to Romania (Chris is still there, but somewhere near Suceava) and may all your dreams come true in New Year.

Howdy Serghei,

Ironically not only is it "goodbye to 2014" but also goodbye (hopefully) to gas guzzling autos, like the ones in your image - a large heavy Cadillac, a S.U.V., etc...Future thinking engineering is bringing us not only lighter and better gas mileage autos, but also the electric car. Elon Musk's Tesla, Nissan's Leaf, etc., have shaken the oil industry up more than ever. They have even lowered their prices dramatically to keep us addicted to oil, propagandized the benefits of oil in TV commercials, etc......My next car will be all electric, and my favorite now is a prototype, Nissan's Blade Glider. I am also very interested in a new U.S. three wheeler being designed - the Elio which will cost less than $8,000 and get 80 miles per gallon of gasoline.

Hello Serghei,
California is a very unlikely place for me to visit. I would much rather go back to Romania. This is a nice photo from what looks like a fairly ordinary suburb for the not so filthy rich. The palms framing the upper side are the nicest part of the photo.

These cars are parked I suppose but they give a sense of moving forward in single file. Framed with fine depth and excellent sharp details with these leaves making a pleasing frame. Thanks for sharing and have a great new year ahead.
