Photographer's Note

Old Michigan City lighthouse was built in 1858 at a cost of $8,000. This lighthouse replaced an 1837 brick and stone light built at water's edge. It was remodeled in 1904. Seven lighthouse keepers and fourteen assistant keepers served here from 1837 to 1940.

Bonjour Zbigniew,

J'aime beaucoup cette maison jaune qui semble sortir du brouillard environnant pour nous laisser découvrir ses beautés ainsi que le phare qui se cache derričre.

Michigan (or Lake Michigan - I know this is Indiana) is great for these old lighthouses.
I love, the beautiful composition and POV, with the soft colors you captured.
