Inside St. Patrick’s

My previous photo showed St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Fifth Avenue in New York City, so why not photo of the interior of the same cathedral as well? A service was in progress during our visit, but it was possible to take this photo down the central aisle. The cathedral can accommodate 3,000 people and its length is almost 121m. It is one of the largest cathedrals in the world and was built between 1858 and 1878. The cathedral is the seat of the archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York.
