Photographer's Note

Sunset Boulevard in addition to having a very romantic name is actually famous for having an area with a lot of night clubs (Sunset Strip). For many popular musicians, a concert there was a jump start for an international career. Similarly to Hollywood Boulevard, the expectations in regard to this place may be very high, but in the reality the ambience of both places is more hippy than elegant.
The Whisky (in this photo) is one of the most iconic clubs along the Sunset Boulevard.

A really cool photo of this night club at daytime. The red walls are very attractive and the many advertisements and other elements look good against that background. The sunlight was also bright and appealing. Well done.

Hello Mariusz, taken some 18 years ago now, I wonder if this scene has changed much?
A very good point of view that shows two sides of this dark red building.

Mariusz, that establishment has an elegant red and black facade. Posters inform and attract the clubbers inside. You select the right angle to capture this photo. Fine colors, good sharpness, interesting photo note, regards.

ahhhhhhhh....now I understand. I actually viewed John's photo first. So that's why i was confused. I didn't know you had posted this one. Interesting when you say its an area where many dreams were started and careers started...the opposite is probably true - many careers ENDED here as well. False hope and false promises from managers and such....thats the entertainment business! love this building and street corner, and seeing John's shot & yours makes it even better. cheers

Certainly the name of the street, it sounds very good and for those of us who do not know the city, we imagine an elegant street with good shops, but I see from this old and magnificent photo that it also has its places not highly recommended.
Nice color, which together with good sharpness and optimal lighting, illustrates the image well.

I guess I didn't visit this street, I can't remember. I liked the red building, but I would prefer it without these many adds. anyway the image is perfect and I liked the local mood.
