Photographer's Note
Finally, it was time to leave Indiana Dunes State Park to continue our long trek home. I stumbled on this butterfly the way out, on the beach close to the historic Pavilion. I chased it for a while before it landed (see workshop photo).
Indiana Dunes State Park encompasses 2,182 acres of beach, dunes, marshes, swamps, hardwood forests, and white pine groves and is surrounded by National Park lands. In summer, the park offers a small gift shop and swimming beach with lifeguards.

Bir Kelebeği Kovalamak
Sonunda eve doğru uzun yolumuza devam etmek için Indiana Kumulları Eyalet Parkı'ndan ayrılma zamanı gelmişti. Bu kelebeğe çıkarken, tarihi Pavyon'a yakın sahilde rastladım.

Hi Murat, I do like how the butterfly stands out against the background and it looks as though it is very sharp. I wondered how it would look with the butterfly flying into the frame rather than out of it, so I did a WS. cheers, Steve

Hello Murat,
You were quite far away from it but still managed a very sharp photo. But how come that it changed colors, from red and orange to yellow and blue, when it landed?
Regards,
Gert

Hello Murat,
very well done. Quite difficult to get such a tiny object in movement perfectly sharp like you did.
Thanks and regards,

The butterfly itself is beautiful, but I wonder what did the butterfly want to find on the sand?
Something to eat?
regards Ryszard

Hello Murat,
An amazing capture of this small butterfly in full flight over the sand. Its sharpness is amazing and the orange and red colours stand out so well from the backdrop. Great work!

Hi Murat,as you know, i am always doing these things. So you understand that it takes a lot of patience. Photos aren't the best because of the distance. The species is the famous Monarch "Danaus chrysippus", which for some years has also arrived in southern Italy due to climate change and which I photographed very well in Cuba. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Not an easy chase, Murat, but managed quite a good view of this beautiful butterfly.
Its red and orange colors distinctly in contrast to the sand, and sharp outcome shows its "decorative" wings.
These times only birds and butterflies are really free...
Wish you a nice weekend,
Ike

Hi Murat
Hmmm This butterfly started out being a Monarch but ended up as an Orchard Swallowtail by the time it landed in the the workshop. Never mind, you have more patience than me chasing butterflies. Luciano and Silvio must use a Startrek phaser on stun! Tfs!
