Photographer's Note
Crown Fountain is an interactive work of public art and video sculpture featured in Chicago's Millennium Park, which is located in the Loop community area. Designed by Catalan artist Jaume Plensa and executed by Krueck and Sexton Architects, it opened in July 2004. The fountain is composed of a black granite reflecting pool placed between a pair of glass brick towers. The towers are 50 feet (15.2 m) tall, and they use light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to display digital videos on their inward faces.
The LED panel normally shows 1000 resident people of Chicago that changes avery minute. This one seems meditating with a breathing exercise.
In summer the place is full of children playing in the water of the fountain, my kids loved the place.

Hello Andre,
I always enjoy seeing this fountain. The giant faces make a great background. Here the contrast between the giant woman with her eyes closed, and the tiny people below, is really strong and fun to see. The man taking a selfie also catches me eye. :-) Take care!
