Photographer's Note

This is another photo of an exhibit from ancient Egypt. The Met has an impressive collection, although some are dubious about how the pieces were acquired... probably true of most museums in the world, however. As it was taken some time ago, I'm not certain as to the history of this one, but I'll do some digging to see what I can find. It's a bit easier now that so many museums have virtual tours and have placed their pieces online.

Effectivement, l'on peut se poser la question de l'acquisition des collections ! Je crois qu'il en est ainsi un peu dans tous les pays (l'on se sert sur place) !
