Photographer's Note
The blue tint in this image is by filter of course. But there is a blue tint when looking at the Mountains of Appalachia. Caused by a chemical release by the trees into the atmosphere. Part of this range is called the Blueridge Mountains.....hence the name.

Hello Jimmy,
I'm always fascinated by hilly landscapes where a color, the further you look, transforms from dark to light
These are always beautiful compositions where your eye is slowly drawn to the infinity
Well done
Have a nice day, groet Rob

Hello Jimmy,
Good aerial perspective with the darker fg tones graduating to lighter hues with each successive new ridge closer to the horizon. A good high pov with excellent sharpness. Tfs!

Hello Jimmy,
It is unusual not to have a focal point in a photograph but you have created the interest by showing how the depth of colour ebbs as you move into the distance.
The fading colours on the horizontal layers creates a wonderful sense of depth.
This would be a great photograph to study for a watercolour painter.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Jimmy,
I am a biochemist and in my former job we actually were quite interested in the isoprene which is causing the blue color haze in some places. It is a substance of an industrial interest and if some organisms can produce it it may be quite useful for many reasons.
Anyway lovely effect,
very well done,
M
