Photographer's Note
One of the most scenic US National Parks I have ever visited. Living in Arizona, I have visited Grand Canyon as well as many other parks. Bryce Canyon was a pleasant surprise.

Stupendous! It almost looks like someone has taken a giant bite out of a piece of multi-colored fruit! Very neat shot!

Hi Roger,
Welcome to TE!
Wow! What amazing scenery!! So majestic and grand. I like the POV and composition. Pity the sky is a bit over-exposed, but a great photo nonetheless. The colours are lovely. This must have been truly awesome and breath-taking. Well seen!

The hoodoos are great. Cropping the sky makes it a stronger photo. Like the rock in the foreground for depth.

I agree with Allen that cropping the sky would make it better, but still it is a fantastic photo. I think the bright sunlight serves to highlight the structure of the rocks very well, and the rock in the foreground gives it something to anchor the whole scene on. Excellent work, a place I've never visited so TFS.

Hi Roger
Never heard of Bryce canyon, but now I want to go there.
Impressive place with those colorful sculptures.
Well taken but for the little bit of overexposure in the sky, which is not the main subject here anyway.

Nature at it's best, and you did a great job with your presentation. The POV and the colours work well. I have never heard of this place, and it would be well worth a trip to see. TFS Rodney

Hi Roger
thanks for your critic
i had watched your gallery and stop on this one. The only critic i have is about sky highlightbut i know it's really difficult to make a correct shot in front of sun.
I were on bryce this summer (after zion) and i appreciated this typical geological park. Overview of amphitheater is excellent and rock include on foreground as an entry point is always an excellent idea when it's possible to do it.
Have a nice day
Alexis

The rock in the foreground works very well in the composition and the colours of the Bryce hoodoos have come out well. I would just crop the over-exposed sky.
