Photographer's Note

Location: Lower Antelope Canyon, near the city of Page, Arizona.

About the Photo: Unlike most places where the best light for shooting is often early morning or late evening, here inside these deep slot canyons the best light is found around midday. Often times when a single beam of light is shining down, photographers will throw sand in the air to create those neat looking beams of light. Definitely not the place you want to be changing lenses, especially with a digital camera. By the time we left we had little particles of sand in our eyes and on our cameras.
