About the Photo: I took this photo while on my way to photograph the sunrise at Landscape Arch, which I posted yesterday, and can be seen here. This shot was taken around 5:15 in the morning.

Wonderful Ryan. I love the cobalt blue of the sky and the deep black of the silhouette. It really looks like a profile of a sitting man. The moon and its placing are a wonderful touch of genius. Well done.

First time i see balanced rock in the night.
The blue is wonderful with the moon inside you have a real winner here.

A different view. I'm not sure if it could have been done, but if you could have backed up and used a telephoto, it would bring the moon out.

Less colorful than your normal work but equally good. I think, apart from getting up that early, can manage such shot. (:

A brilliant composition, a wonderful full-moon and deep colors.
Almost like an alien waiting for the sun, the rock seems to sit there patiently waiting for you to take the picture.
I also adore the way the shapes of the rock slowly turn into a tree on the left hand side. Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful! :D
