Lake Michigan on Fullerton and Lake Shore Drive, Chicago with a view of downtown Chicago

This is the same view that I posted in February sans snow. I took this during the last official day of winter, in the afternoon. Next day, March 21, the first day of spring, we experienced the whole four seasons in a single day.

The skyline includes the Lake Point Tower (the lonely building on the left), an upscale residential building, and the John Hancock Tower, the tallest building in the bunch, which is a mixed commericial/residential skyscraper on North Michigan Ave., Chicago's magnificent mile.

Tech: contrast masking, saturation (+30 in Photoshop), cropping to take a lot of the sky and a little of the water, unsharp mask and resize.
