Photographer's Note
Some may see the orchestra leader in front of the full assembly of musicians? The formations at Bryce Canyon lend credence to the ability of the mind to form recognizable shapes out of abstact patterns. Very entertaining.

hello Kathy, I like the title of photograph, the place looks wonderful. Although the sun was strong, the contrast is fine, tfs.

Hello Kathy, an interesting observation about the human occupation of needing to see recognisable objects from natural phenomonem.
This is a lovely shot of this fantastic formation. The shot is very clear; the colours are wonderful. You have managed the bright light very well.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Kathy,
Excellent, impressive capture of rocky formation!! What a view!! :o) Really good POV. Splendid light and beautiful natural colours... Good comparison, it looks as musicians, but not for me, because I'm geologist ;o) You have done an excellent job here.
Best regards,
Andrzej

Hi Kathy,
Very well composed shot at the edge of the canyon. The colors are well saturated, yet natural. Sharpness is perfect. I like your title too, very fitting for this "arrangement" of hoodoos.

Hello Kathy -
Never thought of the Bryce Canyon hoodoo's in that way before. As I look at the image I can surely see the orchestra and the conductor and what a grand symphony they are playing. Good imagination and excellent image.
Thank you for sharing.

Hey, this reminds me of the fairy chimneys of Kappadokia in Turkey. Very nice shot of this impressive landscape.

Hello Kathy,
How right you are, there is full orchestra, and I can hear the conductor leading Dvorak's "New World" Symphony. The light, colors and textures are excellent. The variations in colors in the different strata also testify to different epochs.
Warm regards,

Hi Kathy.
Another wonderful shot from this region of canyons. The colours, again, are superb, and the composition excellent. I thought some religious soul might suggest it was Jesus on the Mount, but I prefer your reading of the scene. I like the way you have included some forest in opposing corners, and the mesa (if that is what it is called) and other landforms add extra depth to the shot.
Regards,
Andrew

Hello, Kathy.
Fabulous!
I've been looking at some of your photographs after you commented upon one of mine. I am very impressed and feel that many of them have not had the recognition which they deserve.
This picture is indeed superb. Of course, I appreciate that you had beautiful subject matter here but, nonetheless, the composition, exposure, colours and sharpness are out of this World!
Thank you for sharing this one with us. I'm going to add it to my favourites - oops, sorry, favorites!
Kind Regards,
John.
