Hello Lisa,
This is the sort of scenery I see in my mind's eye when think of the Australian bush. You have made good use of the startling yellow road to lead the eyes towards the sparse looking trees. A fine study in tonal contrasts.

Il lungo sentiero marrone, dona un notevole DOF che si ferma sugli alberi che arricchiscono la composizione.
Il contrasto cromatico tra il terreno e il cielo č eccellente.
Bello l'inserimento dei rami secchi in alto a destra.
Danno dinamicitŕ alla scena.

I like the combination picture/note here. Of course, the picture in itself is worthwhile (though I might have tried to erase those branches in the top right corner), but it's the combination that really does the trick for me.

Hello Lisa! YES ... I agree, I love sunburnt countries above everything but sometimes if I am there I want my green hills back so you know never right. Love the long road leading in to some farm house maybe that we cannot see or ending nowhere. We will never know. So much Australia. Very nice work, well seen. All my best, Barbara.

Nice quote on your note.
Well this POV put us right on the sun burnt road and into the open land, didn't even wait for me to put on some sun lotion. Great depth of field here. Very sharpn all the way throughout. I can almost hear the crackling of the rocky dirt road beneath my shoes. Good balanced light, the color is just a tiny bit too strong in the yellow and red but adaquate. A little bit more would be too much. The rest is great and what a big country out here. Really wonderful, I hope to be able to see it one day, if not here at least part of Australia.

Hi Lisa.
Just took a look at your two latest uploads - prefer this one (I have a thing about milky waterfalls) as it reminds me of my many trips to my friends' farm in Mitta Mitta in northern Vic. Perhaps it's a bit hillier there. Correction, it's quite mountainous there! But the trees and the dirt track are so quintessentially Australian. The exposure was very well controlled in the bright light. I'm not sure about the branches top right - I probably would have composed the shot without them or tried to clone them out, but it's a small point. Great title!
