Ellenborough Falls, a photo from New South Wales, East

Photographer's Note

Ellenborough Falls is on the mid North Coast of New South Wales about 5 hours drive north of Sydney. The Falls are about a 45 minute walk on the descent and a bit longer on the ascent - but well worth the huff and puff.

Stupidly, I did not bring a tripod or filter with me, so made do by resting the camera on a rock and playing with the ISO, shutter and aperture.

Seriously, an hour in front of those magnificent Falls is the best relaxation therapy anyone could want.

can you post a bigger picture Lisa ? The water flow effect is very good and i don't see any over burn

i have been to ellenborough falls, didn't have that much water though.
The result is wonderful and a credit to you congrats

Hello Lisa,

Always nice the effect of the long exposure time on the water and more especially on the falls. The silk effect works very well and is for a big part on the efficiency of this photo.
I like also the contrast with the foreground in the light and the background in the dark.

Si, cara Diavolina, sono d'accordo con te, godersi questo spettacolo della natura č sicuramente una buona terapia antistress. Respirare i profumi dell'aria umida piena di goccioline d'acqua, ascoltare la musica dell'acqua che cade, ammirare i colori della luce riflessa da miliardi di particelle d'acqua, tutto contribuisce a farci sentire parte della natura e vivi, con tanta voglia di condividere queste bella sensaziuoni con una piacevole fotografia come questa che hai postato. L'Australia deve essere veramente un luogo stupendo...

Prossimamente sarň poco presente nei siti di fotografia perchč sono in ferie un paio di settimane. Devo andare a trovare un caro amico e soprattutto una cara, dolce, bella, simpatica e fantastica amica! ;-)
