Photographer's Note

Wentworth Falls for Alfred (alftrek) who was here recently but unfortunately for reasons out of his control was unable to walk down to this area.

Wentworth Falls is probably the most stunning waterfall in the Blue Mountains. Having two sections falling from the top to a ledge half way down and then again to the very bottom of the valley, if there was no break, these falls would be the highest waterfall in the Blue Mountains. You can see the top half of the falls from Wentworth Falls Lookout at the end of Falls Road, or Princess Rock, a short walk from the car park however is required to really appreciate the Wentworth Falls region.
I believe the Wentworth Falls can be rather dry at certain times of the year & a little uninspiring but after the heavy rains in the region we were very fortunate to be able to see these magnificent falls in their full splendour, to really appreciate these falls a walk is highly recommended. The walk to the falls and back is a little difficult at times, the ground can be very slippery when wet, the track is tight, winding & steep, it can seem fairly short or long depending on the level of fitness, one thing for certain one will not be disappointed but rather well rewarded by the spectacular views.

Taken in the company of Lisa (delpeoples) and Paolo (paololg)

Thank you Lisa for looking after us so well while we were in Sydney and accompanying us to so many beautiful & exiting places, a special thanks to your other half (Kevino) who let you out day & night with two strange men :) and furthermore he did it without a complaint.

Thanks Kevin.

My mistake this is not the Wentworth Falls but rather the Empress Falls found in the Valley of the Waters in the Blue Mountains at a place called Wentworth Falls. Thanks guys for the information.
