Just another one of the New Year 2004 Firework.
Although i was expected the huge firework, I've learn for the next time capturing them.

PS work: Cropped and sharpen once.
Saved as 90% quality. (Lost some saturation)

I really like it... did a quick workshop ...

I like to see the fireworks coming out of complete darkness. I did a B-C-I job on it and a quick contrast brush on the right sky. It's a very dynamic photo, and I love the crispness of the buildings and the white firework streaks.

(... but on second thought, with the contrast boosted, we lose the smoke)

Although you have captured the firework nicely, i think i would prefer a little more "air" to the right side, so that the firework is not in the middle of the photo...

Again a wonderful fire display of 2004 Sydney firework. This one has beatiful colours and is very sharp. Well done, Din!

I really like your framing here, Din. The fireworks appear to come out of nowhere, but at second glance there is that hint of a skyline in the background which puts the whole view into context. So even if the firework was smaller than expected, you managed to get some pretty darn good shots out of it.

Hi Din best for 2004 looked and liked your last couple of postings, especially the family of meerkats [suricats] This fireworks display is appealing bu watch out for flare - the white hot-spots are a bit bright.
