Sunset Apostles, a photo from Victoria, East

Photographer's Note

Sunset at the Twelve Apostles in Southern Australia.
This was the sight that greeted us as we walked onto the viewing platform area... wow... took my breath away. We stayed until the sun had set, tho this was the best sight we had of the Apostles. The stunning sunset was not to be for us... the clouds were too persistant!

Lovely shot, Charlotte. I can't work out if it's heavily desaturated or actually black and white, but the effect is perfect. You have made the most out of what sounds like a tricky lighting situation. Well done!

Often pictured the 12 Apostles, this one is special because of the perfect lights, which give the photo a 3-dimensional outlouk,

Hello Charlotte

First I thought it was a midnight scenery of somewhere in Northern Norway:-) But...it's Southern Australia!
This light and shadows..I can almost breathe the air. Unusual...Really good!
